On what legal grounds do we process your personal data?
For the processing of your personal data, we have the following legal grounds:

If the processing is necessary for the purpose of our legitimate interests, e.g. direct marketing, handling complaints and disputes upon your request, and improving our services; and

In general, we will respond within four weeks to a request for inspection or correction. In case of a deletion request we will delete the personal data as soon as possible, unless and to the extent that the law requires us to keep the personal data or if there are other compelling reasons to oppose removal. After the execution of a deletion request we will send you a message of confirmation. If the personal data is (partially) not deleted, we will send you a message in which we explain why your request could not (fully) be met. If we cannot identify which personal data are meant by a request for inspection, correction or deletion, we may ask you to specify your request in more detail. We suspend the execution of the request until you have provided us with such detailed specification.
If you have given us permission to process your personal data, you can revoke this consent at any time. Revoking your consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent provided before the revocation. Finally, you have the right to submit a complaint to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) by visiting www.autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl/en.

We are “Stichting Carbon Removal Foundation”, with the trade name: remove (hereinafter: “we”, “us” or “remove”) and we are the controller of your personal data provided to us in the course of your application through our website. We have our registered office and place of business in (1087 MN) Amsterdam, the Netherlands, at the Jan Vrijmanstraat 215.
In this privacy statement we explain how we protect and respect your personal data and privacy as an applicant to one of our programs and as a user of our website http://www.remove.global.
Which data do we process?
When filling in the application form the following personal data can be processed:
(Company/project) name;
Website url;
Country of residence;
E-mail address;
Telephone number;
LinkedIn profile;
Information about your business necessary for applying;
Two minute video pitch with information where you currently stand, what your current challenges are why you like to participate in the accelerator;
List of all shareholders including founders, employees and investors that own more than 5% equity;
What purposes do we process your personal data for?
We can use your personal data:
To carry out obligations arising from any agreements entered into between you and us;
To save it in a cloud service;
To save it in a Customer relationship management (CRM), specifically Hubspot;
To share it with jurors; and
To comply with applicable legislation.

For the processing of your personal data, we have the following legal grounds:
Deciding on your application and informing you of the decision made;
Preparing an agreement between you and us and to carry out obligations arising from any agreements entered into between you and us;
Our legitimate interest to use the information provided to analyze trends and to tune our program to the data provided in order to use our limited means more effectively;
Our legitimate interest to prevent multiple applications by the same persons within a short time frame;
Our legitimate interest to make better decisions on your future applications, based on the data you have provided to us in the past.

If your application is rejected, your personal data is stored up to two years after rejection.
